• RICHARD BARTHOLOMEW, President of the Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation, distributed cards for members to submit names for our local Foundation's bequest society. Please give cards to JANE with your suggestions.

• ROB showed us the presentation check for $2,000 from Payless Supermarkets. It's a bit large for the bank to process, but made a nice statement!

• Members who would like to have the directory in soft form should bring an "external memory device" and JANE can transfer the pdf to it from the Rotary laptop. If you want a soft version without photos, ask JANE to send it to you by e-mail.

• TOM MORAN, chair of the Gus Macker committee, reported that 273 teams had great weather for the tournament last weekend. The financial report will be presented soon. Click here for some pictures at the event.

• ROB presented a signed basketball to TOM with appreciation for his leadership this year.

Our very own JAYNE FEATHERS was selected to be the first alternate leader for this year's GSE team! That means she attends all of the preparations meetings. If she is not needed this time, she will be given high consideration for next year's trip, if she decides to pursue it.
