Dave is
pleased to have a healthy team; one that developed leadership during a
trip to Europe last May. He introduced returning seniors, describing them
as an impressive group scholastically and athletically. The first opponent
is Duke at the August 29/30 tournament. Dave invited us to buy tickets to
enjoy 90 minutes of action.
Burke said Ross Ade Stadium is almost ready to host Northern Colorado
for the first football game of the season. He is excited about a great staff,
the appointment of captains during the summer, and a smart experienced
team. There will be a new ticket pricing structure to encourage adults to
bring young people to the games.
Danny Hope, the new head football coach, says he is happy to have an
academically successful as well as championship team. This is his third
opportunity to work for Joe Tiller in twenty-seven years of coaching. Hope
reviewed the team noting that the players have a great work ethic. He is
grateful for the comfortable weather and hopes the team stays healthy.
