ROB introduced Richard Mattes, professor, foods and nutrition at Purdue, whose
topic was "Trusting Your Senses". His focus was on the chemical senses, i.e.,
taste, smell and irritation. He conducted several experiments with the group and
ended by telling us that perception is reality. BILL FULLER sums it all up very
well with these words:
