Building Communities and Bridging Continents is the 2010-2011 theme of Rotary International, and the Lafayette Rotary Club. Our 200+ members support projects in the greater Lafayette area, including "Backpacks" -- providing food for the week-end for over 80 at-risk children in a local elementary school. We work with the Central Indiana District on projects: A burn rehabilitation unit in El Salvador, water wells in Haiti, and Gift of Life -- a training program for Ugandan surgeons provided by Riley Hospital Surgical Staff. We meet Rotarians from all over the world, and we sponsor exchange students and ambassadorial scholars. We strive to show our community that international peace, understanding, and good will are achievable. To learn more, browse our web site or contact us for more information about the Lafayette Rotary Club or Rotary International.

Our emphasis during this 2010-11 Rotary year continues to be increasing awareness of community needs while supporting our international friends with matching grant projects with Rotary International.
